SYNOPSIS

--SPLITSCREEN-- (NO DIALOGUE- SPOKEN WORD)
The film begins at the start of both Adeola and Sophia's day.
We see them wake up and get dressed ready to start their day. They both leave the house and we see how they face differences in day to day life because of their race.
Adeola is given dirty looks as she walks down the street. whereas Sophia has smiling faces and white people greeting her a good morning.
Adeola and Sophia go into 2 corner shops across town from each other to get a some breakfast, they walk around and both decide not to get anything and decide to leave, Adeola is stopped, the shopkeeper wants to check her bag. Sophia walks out of the store with ease.
They both go to the supermarket to get their weekly shop Adeola faces a family with a daughter who wants to touch her afro. she rolls her eyes whilst Sophia shops in peace, they leave the store with heavy bags.
Adeola is interrupted by a man over sexualising her and harassing her. Sophia meets a man willing to help her with her bags, he's kind and does not sexualise her at all, he helps her with her bags home whilst Adeola has to tell them man to fuck off.
They go home and make food. and eat, and watch the same youtube videos.
They get ready for their job interview picking up their CV, we can see they have the same amount of experience.
They make their way to their job interview and both sit in the waiting room next to each other. There are others waiting, they are all white apart from adeola.
--SPLITSCREEN DISAPPEARS-- (DIALOGUE)
 Sophia is called from the waiting room to enter the interview room.
She greets her and interviews her, the interview is going well.
We then cut back to Adeola waiting in the waiting room, she's nervous, we see her scrolling through her emails, she has a lot of declined job applications. We cut back to the interview and the interviewer shakes her hand and tells her she'll give her call to let her know if she got the job. She walks out and Adeola is then called to be interviewed. The interview is also good, just as good as sophia. at the end of the inteview, the interviewer congratulates her and offers her the job. They shake hands and adeola is smiling. She leaves, but as she leaves we pan to see what was on the interviewers computer. She has an email from the head office telling her she must hire more diverse people, as her office is lacking diversity. fades to black.
